kdb contains the private keys, certificiates, and CA's. It is encrypted with a password that can be stashed in the *. sth file. The *. rdb contains information about outstanding certificate requests.

How do I view kdb files?
Opening a key database Click Key Database File from the main UI, then click Open. In the Open dialog box, enter your key database name, or click the key. kdb file, if you use the default. Click OK.
