Is SQLite file a binary?
SQLite database files themselves are binary, which typically isn't diff-able with standard tools, so (eg) git wouldn't show you anything useful unless you configure a special tool for diffing sqlite files.
What is SQLite binary?
SQLite has three built-in collating functions: BINARY, NOCASE, and RTRIM. BINARY - Compares string data using memcmp(), regardless of text encoding. NOCASE - Similar to binary, except that it uses sqlite3_strnicmp() for the comparison.
What type of database is SQLite?
SQLite is an embedded, file-based RDBMS that does not require any installation or setup. This, in turn, means that the application does not run under a separate server process that needs to be started, stopped, or configured. This serverless architecture enables the database to be cross-platform compatible.
Does SQLite use binary search?
Since the information is stored in the table in rowid order, SQLite can find the correct row using a binary search.
