Is MySQL column value case-sensitive?
Column, index, stored routine, and event names are not case-sensitive on any platform, nor are column aliases. However, names of logfile groups are case-sensitive. This differs from standard SQL. By default, table aliases are case-sensitive on Unix, but not so on Windows or macOS.
Is MySQL like case-sensitive?
Mysql ignores case for its LIKE comparisons.
Are SQL variables case-sensitive?
Even on a SQL Server instance installed with a binary collation, variable and parameter data types are case insensitive, so you can do this just fine: CREATE PROCEDURE dbo.
Does MySQL ignore case?
The default collations used by SQL Server and MySQL do not distinguish between upper and lower case letters—they are case-insensitive by default. The logic of this query is perfectly reasonable but the execution plan is not: DB2.
