How many databases can be configured in an AlwaysOn availability?
An availability group supports one set of primary databases and one to eight sets of corresponding secondary databases. Secondary databases are not backups.
Can a database belong to more than one availability group?
Databases may only belong to one availability group at a time. You can have more than one AlwaysOn Availability Group on your instance, but databases cannot belong to more than one group.
How many replicas can I have in an AlwaysOn Availability Group 2016?
Limit of two replicas (primary and secondary).
