To open the AppData folder on Windows 10, 8 & 7:1Open File Explorer/Windows Explorer.2Type %AppData% into the address bar and hit enter.3Navigate to the required folder (Roaming or Local)
Why is AppData not showing?
Normally, you will not find the AppData folder in your User Profile page because it is hidden by default. We will change the hidden settings and then access the file location. Make sure that you are logged in as an administrator. Press Windows + E to access the Windows Explorer.
What is the shortcut to access AppData?
Direct access Tap the Win+R keyboard shortcut to open the run box. In the run box, enter %AppData% , and tap the Enter key. A new File Explorer window will open to the AppData's Roaming folder. Click the 'AppData' folder in the location bar to go to the main AppData folder.
