Why can't I see shared drives on Google Drive?
Important: Shared Drives are only available with the G Suite Enterprise, Business, or Education editions. If you don't see Shared Drives in Google Drive, it might not be available for your organization. For details, contact your G Suite administrator.
How do I enable permissions on a drive?
To set permissions for a file: Click the drop-down arrow. under Get Link. Choose to share the file with Anyone with the link. To decide what people can do with your file when you share it, select either, Viewer, Commenter, or Editor.
How do I change shared drive settings?
To make it so only you can share:1Open the homescreen for Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, or Google Slides.2Click Share or Share .3At the top, click Settings .4Uncheck Editors can change permissions and share.5Click Done.
