What is offline cache?
Offline Caching is a feature that saves StickyFolios data to a mobile device and allows users to view their StickyFolio without being connected to the internet.
What are offline files?
(1) A file in a storage device that is not attached to a computer. In the past, an offline file may have referred to files on magnetic tapes or removable disk drives. See removable disk, data library, offline and offline browser. (2) A copy of a network file that is stored locally.
What happens when you disable offline files?
What happens if I disable offline files? It won't wipe the data cached on the local disk, but nor will that data be visible anymore, which is still something of an issue, because if it hasn't sync'd more recent content from the cache up to the server, then you've still effectively “lost” it.
