How do I restrict access to extensions?
You can try with providing the Permission to the Goggle Chrome Extensions ( Allow/ Deny ) for the particular User's. To disable write access, Right Click the Extensions -> properties -> security -> edit -> Select the User. Hit Allow/Deny on check box and they will/ will not be able to install extensions.
Can Chrome extensions be private?
Private: Only users in your domain can see the extension and install it. To make private extensions available to users outside of your domain, you would need to set up a “trusted tester” group and add them manually via email addresses within the Chrome Developer Dashboard.
Can I pin a Chrome extension?
Open the Extensions by clicking the puzzle icon next to your profile avatar. A dropdown menu will appear, showing you all of your enabled extensions. Each extension will have a pushpin icon to the right of it. To pin an extension to Chrome, click the pushpin icon so that the icon turns blue.
