Can you have two Access databases open at the same time?

In a single instance of Access, you can have only one database open at a time. In other words, you cannot start Access, open one database, and then open another database without closing the first database.

Can you combine Access databases?

You can merge two separate Microsoft Access databases by using the built-in tools. By combining databases, you can build relationships, share information and access them together in one unified database.

How many users can open an Access database at once?

Usually multiple users can open the same access database at the same time.

Can two people edit an Access database at the same time?

We work with a large Access database and we want a few users (max. 5 to 6 at the worst) to be able to edit tables at the same time by using forms. We have split the database into front end and back end. The BE is placed on a NAS and each user has an offline copy of the FE on his own desktop.
