Is every song in one key?
Music theory is a set of tools musicians can use, but they're not rules you must follow. So it is common for songs to include chords that don't perfectly fit into the key of the song. If you analyze the chords of a song and you find that they all fit into one of the keys except for one chord, that's okay.
Are songs in the same key?
In common practice period compositions, and most of the Western popular music of the 20th century, pieces always begin and end in the same key, even if (as in some Romantic-era music) the key is deliberately left ambiguous at first.
Are songs in multiple keys?
Commonly, songs can use two keys: the main key, and then a modulation to a key that is a 5th apart. For instance, starting a song in C major but having a section that goes to G major (G is the 5 chord in the key of C) and then returning to C at the end.
Can all songs be played in any key?
Theoretically you can play any melody and chord progression for a song in any key. But a song will often work best in certain keys and usually the key it was written in for a specific instrument.
